Your gentle space to be heard

Who I help and support

Who I Work With

Many of the people who come to work with me describe feeling they are both "too much" and "not enough" at the same time, many don't feel they are seen, heard or accepted for who they are.

Beneath this, there is often a quiet sense that something isn't working anymore and a longing for life to feel more manageable, reciprocal, meaningful, and aligned.

I work with many people who identify as highly sensitive, neurodivergent, or who are exploring whether neurodiversity may be part of their experience. Whether diagnosed, self-identifying, curious, or questioning, I offer a neuro-affirming space where all parts of your experience are welcome.

Whatever brings you here, my hope is to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can slow down, feel heard without judgement, and begin to reconnect with yourself in ways that feel supportive, sustainable, and meaningful.

Often people come to work with me to explore one or more of these areas:

  •  Anxiety, overthinking and rumination — exploring the thoughts, feelings, and nervous system responses that may be keeping you stuck in cycles of worry, self-doubt, or constant mental activity.
  •  Burnout, exhaustion, or feeling constantly "on alert" — supporting you to slow down, reconnect with your needs, and find steadier ground when life feels overwhelming or emotionally demanding.
  • Boundaries, People-pleasing, "good girl/boy" conditioning, and difficulty putting yourself first — exploring patterns of prioritising other people's needs, feeling responsible for everyone else, struggling to say no, and learning to develop healthier boundaries and self-trust.
  • Suppressed anger and finding your voice — gently exploring emotions that may have felt unsafe to express, understanding the role anger can play as a healthy signal, and developing ways to communicate your needs, feelings, and boundaries with greater confidence and compassion.
  • Neurodiversity — offering a safe, affirming space to explore your unique experiences, strengths, challenges, and support needs with understanding and compassion.
  •  Relationship challenges — exploring difficulties with partners, friends, family members, or colleagues, and understanding patterns, communication styles, and relationship dynamics.
  •  LGBTQIA+ support — providing an inclusive and affirming space to explore identity, relationships, belonging, self-expression, and life experiences.
  • Midlife changes and transitions — supporting you through periods of change, including peri menopause and menopause, identity shifts, changing relationships, career changes, and questions around meaning or purpose.
  •  Living with chronic pain, fatigue, or health conditions — acknowledging the emotional impact of living with ongoing health challenges and exploring gentle ways to support yourself with compassion and care.
  • Family estrangement and complex family relationships — navigating grief, loss, boundaries, family conflict, and rebuilding trust in yourself following difficult or painful family experiences.
  • Recovering from trauma or emotionally neglectful environments — gently exploring the lasting impact of what has happened to you and supporting healing, self-understanding, and greater emotional safety.
  • Recovery, co-dependency, and long-term coping patterns — exploring ways of relating that may have developed through survival, and building greater self-awareness, self-trust, and self-compassion.
  • Adult children of alcoholics or dysfunctional families — understanding how early family experiences may continue to influence relationships, self-worth, emotional wellbeing, and patterns of coping in adulthood.
  • Grief and loss — supporting you through bereavement, life transitions, estrangement, changing relationships, health challenges, and the many forms of loss that can shape our lives.

Support for diverse life experiences

I offer an affirming, inclusive, and compassionate space, my approach is body-affirming, neuro-affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, people living with disability or chronic health conditions, people from diverse racial, cultural, faiths and religious backgrounds, grounded in compassion, respect, and inclusivity.

My approach is grounded in respect, open curiosity, and understanding, recognising that each person’s experiences, identity, and relationship to the world are unique. I aim to create a space where you can feel safe, accepted, and able to bring your whole self without judgement.

At the heart of my work is helping people to feel safe, seen, accepted, and less alone in what they’re carrying.

I offer online sessions

I offer online counselling sessions across the UK, providing a warm, supportive space you can access from the comfort of your own home. Online sessions can offer flexibility, accessibility, and a sense of ease, especially for those balancing busy lives, health conditions, caring responsibilities, or anxiety around attending in person.

My face-to-face counselling sessions are in a calm, welcoming room at Hillfields Park Community Centre in Bristol, a community-led, accessible, wellbeing space designed to help people connect, reflect, and feel supported.

It offers a warm, inclusive environment with a strong focus on community, nature, wellbeing, creativity, and accessibility, which closely reflects the values of my practice.

Specialised Therapy work - Somatic and Internal Family Systems Informed

Sometimes we can understand something with our minds, but our bodies are still carrying it.

If you've ever found yourself thinking, "I understand why I feel like this, but I still can't seem to change it," this way of working may resonate with you.

Somatic Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) offer a gentle, compassionate approach to exploring the connection between your mind, body, emotions, nervous system, and the different parts of yourself. Rather than trying to fix or change you, we slow down, listen with curiosity, and begin to understand what your body and inner world may be trying to communicate.

Many people find this approach particularly supportive if they're living with the effects of trauma, burnout, chronic stress, difficult relationships, family estrangement, emotional neglect, or long-standing patterns such as people-pleasing, self-criticism, or feeling disconnected from themselves.

Together, we work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, helping you build greater self-understanding, nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and a deeper sense of feeling at home within yourself.
